BetEasy Review

In September 2020, Flutter Entertainment, the owner of Sportsbet and BetEasy, made the decision to merge BetEasy with Sportsbet and no longer use the BetEasy brand. You can read more about Sportsbet here.

BetEasy was launched in August 2018 following the merger of CrownBet and William Hill. BetEasy was licensed and regulated in the Northern Territory, and owned by Canadian betting behemoth, the Stars Group Inc before Flutter Entertainment took over. BetEasy was essentially the CrownBet business rebadged for ownership and marketing purposes.

BetEasy entrenched itself as one of the leading betting sites in Australia with live streaming, a variety of top betting products and value-add account features.

The verdict

It’s a shame to see BetEasy dissolve into Sportsbet. The chain of customers from William Hill, CrownBet and BetEasy, now all belong to Sportsbet. For an alternative to Sportsbet in the Australian market, you may consider PointsBet, as they offers a unique point of difference with their spread betting service.
